Garden Wise Video Series-A Tool for Vegetable Gardeners

It’s the second time of year us gardeners enjoy planting a vegetable garden!  Of course, spring gardens are most popular because of the longer growing season, but a fall garden is good and a lot of folks look forward to a second helping of fresh vegetables.  I did the series to especially help those folks that are beginners, and some seasoned gardeners who have commented that they did learn something new from some of the presentations.  If you have not had a chance to view the presentations, I encourage you to do so. Tell your neighbor and friends that want to learn more about growing a vegetable garden.

I have plans to do a lot of programs, events and hands on workshops in 2022 on gardening, lawn and landscape and other areas of horticulture.  I am looking forward to it as I enjoy all of it!  This year has been a tough go of it with all we have had to deal with here at work and COVID restrictions and folks still Leary of it, and these type programs have suffered.  On top of that Tanya, and I are having to handle the 4-H program with the absence of a 4-H Agent and that is very time consuming.  Our office staff Laurie and Karen have done a great job helping us out too and we thank them for going above and beyond their normal duties.  But we all will survive and get through it and hopefully have a new 4-H Agent by the end of the year.   We do have a new program assistant hired and will start soon and that will take some of the load off all of us here at the office.
